I always start my reviews with ‘I really enjoyed this!’ But it’s just honest lol. Reading about her past sexual abuse was difficult and the resulting ptsd but I love how gentle her mate was to her and I love how their love story progressed and I loved this HEA so much and also the couple of Josie POVs setting up for the next book 😃

**Barbarian’s Prize by Ruby Dixon**, MF, Ice Planet Barbarians #5, aliens, 3.5/5 ⭐️.  At this point I know what I’m in for with each book — good sense of humor, entertaining characters, big blue aliens, etc, and I’m here for it.  Do note that this book dealt more directly with trauma (cw: previous sexual assault) than some of the previous books so it wasn’t as purely escapist for me.
