Here you have a squeaky-clean highschool romance. It is nice to see a love connection without the sex. An essential component of a relationship is positive communication. Being raised in a strict, religious household has its benefits. Focused education and character development fall in that category. This books is cute for young teenagers.
Meh - what can I say? I was bored. It was there. The movie is waaaayy better.

I have seen the movie about 100 times so I was curious how the book was and it was good, but I was surprised that it was fairly different than the movie. Even though I had seen the movie a lot, I think I still preferred the book.

This is my 3rd reread of this book. I never grow tired of it and it gets me every time.

A cute romance story. I had seen the movie years before but decided to pick up the book on a whim. I was not disappointed as it was a quick read and very engaging. It was nice to understand the characters better than the movie.
