Katie takes an assignment to profile a Coast Guard Swimmer, Tom. One catch - she can't swim.

This book was a fun, (mostly) light read. The romance was sweet, but there were a few scenes that made me roll my eyes. I appreicated how the author dealt with body image - an issue that so many women struggle with.

LOVE this book! It was so cute and fun! The MMC being in the Coast Guard was so special for me, since my husband is also in the Coast Guard. Hutch was a hunk of a man with a sweet, tender soul! I also very much enjoyed Katie’s character. She on the journey of self love and I really enjoyed watching her grow. Honestly they really felt like the perfect match. If these characters were real they would grow old and gray together!

The story was had me blushing and laughing as well! Overall such a fun time! My favorite Katherine Center book!

Thank you, NetGalley for the ARC!

This didn't feel like a romance book - it felt like a romance trying to be a lit fic. I didn't feel any chemistry between the MCs, and it just wasn't very believable. The last quarter of this book really lost me - it just took me out of the story completely. This one just wasn't for me.

Katherine Center is a must read author for me. This book was not my favorite of hers, however it was still a page turning slow burn grumpy/sunshine romance. Add in a huge Great Dane that’s tackling you every time you encounter him and it makes for a humorously delightful read. It also dives into the work the coast guard does. I found this interesting because along with the FMC, I had really no clue what the coast guard did. There are so many lovable characters and lessons about body positivity woven through the pages. Definitely pick this one up!

Thank you to Netgalley and publishers for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I very much enjoyed the subplots of personal growth, particularly the FMC’s relationship with herself. I also enjoyed learning some about the USCG and the making of informative videos. The romance was super slow burn, and almost seemed secondary at times. The supporting cast, rescue dog, and their stories were delightful, though.
