She’s a filmmaker, he’s a heroic coast guard rescue swimmer. They’re thrown together for a job.
This was a “stay up late to finish reading” book for me. The story immediately kicked off with compelling and funny characters. The pacing of the story was good, and when I thought I might get tired of the body image issues, things shifted. It’s a romance, but her books always have a deeper storyline and I really enjoyed this one.
While the main characters felt really thought out, the side characters were sometimes less developed. This didn’t detract from the story though. The humor REALLY carried me through. I think this author is an auto-buy for me.

Her books never disappoint! I will say this book felt a little more disjointed than her other books, and there was a bit too much going on at points. I did love the body positivity arc though!
