Katherine Center is the queen of rom-coms, and this book is no less than perfection. I read this one in less than a day and it will so stick with me. I adored Katie’s character, and how real she felt and how much I could see myself in her. I also absolutely adored Hutch, that giant hero hunk of perfection. Like - talk about a book boyfriend. WOW. These characters really made this book, and honestly even the side characters were to die for! Rue and the Gals, George Bailey - I was cracking up at these characters and the love for life they brought to the story.

This book will have you laughing one moment, thinking about those difficult life moments the next, to reclaiming your relationship with your own body. Katherine Center’s rom-coms always come with a hint of important topics to foster self growth.

This book is a definite must read!!

Center's books always promise a silly, goofy time, and this one delivered! It wasn't my favourite of hers, maybe just because it felt too similar to some of her past books. Most of her leading men have few strong character traits other than being perfect, and that was the case here too. Katie's main struggle is self-confidence and her body image, which she works on throughout the book in a believable way, and I appreciated how it was portrayed. It was just missing that extra oomph I usually feel from her books.

Another winner by Katherine Center. Her books are described as "deep rom-coms" - laugh-and-cry books about how life knocks us down, and how we get back up.  This one has a lovely romantic love story (not at all steamy) - in addition to other little love stories between friends, siblings, and parent figures. The best love story in this book is the one between the main character and herself. She learns to look upon herself with kindness and grows to love herself for who she is. Which is a pretty great message in this supermodel social media obsessed world we live in.

Light, fun, a real feel good read with an HEA.
