Fabulous series! Can't wait to read Bk #3. If you like a strong female lead character and to watch her grow over time, this is for you.

I love series like this, but objectively it is a bit slow at some points. So many twists in this book.
no on of importance dies thank goodness

i really enjoyed this more than the first in the series! i liked getting a deeper insight to some characters and loved the relationship building that occurs between feyre and others. the ending made me feel like an empty shell of a person and incredibly upset :/ i went through all the emotions reading this

Sarah really had the power to make us hate almost every character we loved and she did...although I'm glad for that because it brings up a light to a lot of things that should be discussed more (at least I think so). I loved every little thing about the inner circle and it made me value their friendship so much :) and the character development of Rhys chefs kiss

Idk if anything this book put me through a hell of a ride at this emocional roller coaster and I'm here for it! it reminded me of what I loved so much about books (especially fantasy books) when I was younger... the time i loved reading so much that I would literally eat them up, reading nonstop until finished and sort of threaten my family's wallet every time we passed a library lol

it may not be the best book out there but it has captured a piece of my heart and I will treasure it. it made me laugh, feel love and hatred and sadness... and god I SWEAR sometimes I LAUGHTED MY FUCKING MIND OFF i don't even know why

I want to kill Tamlin and Lucien so bad AGH, also Rhys is a baby don't ever touch him, thanks Feyre for FINALLY grabbing a grasp of herself...

A great follow-up to ACOTAR. I really enjoyed this book and how the characters and story developed!

A Court of Thorns and Roses delivers the well-worn, somewhat predictable beats and tropes we know and love in fun and exciting ways, hitting the right beat at every twist and turn. By contrast, A Court of Mist and Fury takes a sharp left away from what seems to be shaping up as an equally well-known plot in the early chapters. Maas is incredibly bold as she turns this fairy tale ending on its head in an unexpected journey into social change, personal agency, the many shapes of love, and healing from trauma.
