I absolutely loved this book.

Feyre was so fierce and real -- I loved that she had to deal with her rebirth, trauma, and balance between her mortal heart and immortal body. She stayed true to herself, as a survivor, a fighter.

Rhysand and the Night Court was amazing. I love everything about their history and set up and relationships. I didn't feel attached to much of anyone in the Spring Court the way I felt protective of the Night Court. (Except Lucien, who is the best.) 

I'm honestly surprised how much happened in this book. There were a lot of quests for items, treaties, deals, and training. It felt like every 20 pages was a new step, a new quest. It could have been a bit overwhelming, but it flowed and made sense and the characters had room to breathe.

I didn't like Tamlin before, and now I can't stand him. I thought Rhys was clever and cunning, but now he's so much more; he's everything. I'm obsessed with Mor and Azriel, with Nesta and Elain as fey now, with mating bonds and how that might swing things.

I'm completely addicted.

I rated the first book in the series 5.0 and now I wish I could rate this even higher. This book was truly amazing, I cannot recommend enough. The romance. The spice, the plot. The character development. Chef’s kiss
