Am I an overthinker? No. Although, as a younger woman I sometimes followed that path. I remember one moment of overwhelm clearly. I had reached some kind of brain max out at work. A dear friend and coworker took me out to get an ice cream because my mind was obviously spinning. We got to the ice cream shop. The innocent person working at the counter began to ask the questions she needed to know so she could take care of me. What flavor? A cup or a cone? Do you want a cover? The final question made me burst out in tears. How I would have loved to put the skills Anne Bogel gently walks us through in her new book Don’t Overthink It into my mind at that moment.
Life has taught me much of what Anne says so well. Her wisdom sits close to my own heart and her words are exactly what I want to share with the people I love when I see them getting stuck. I will be pressing this book into the hands of my daughters and my friends!

This is one of those books I will want to re-read in case the information slips my mind. The book and examples resonated a lot with me and it feels like me reading this book was just perfect timing. The advice is easy to implement and I feel like it's actually working. Very happy.

I was very hesitate by the psalm (Bible verse?) in the beginning, but surprisingly it was not very Christian. Had some helpful tips.

Simple book with actionable ideas to get out of your own way. Told in the same manner as WSIRN
podcast, which I enjoy.

I loved this book. I am not sure if it is because the content is up my alley or that it was the right book at the right time, but it helped me recognize my patterns with practical tips for change.
