At this point, this book is like seeing a workaholic, working himself to death.
Gone is the curious hadrian and a husk of a once lovable character remains.
The sad part is that you can't even get behind his commitment to the empire. Every human is either a dick or an idiot.
I just want hadrian and valka to run away and live happily ever after. But it's an ending not likely to happen
