this is the one mmm i can get behind. u can clearly see all of them fall in love with each other at their own pace. sure jamie and gabriel get there faster than drake but i love that drake and gabriel happen naturally too, eventually. they re all perfect together. i especially like drake and gabriel’s progression. i like that jamie and drake couldn’t also fully connect as mates because their missing piece was gabriel. when it comes to mmm, it s hard for me to like them because i dont like imbalance between the people in the relationship or when the relationship is just about sex. But these guys?? Amazing.
However, still maybe giving 4 stars because i didnt like that the plot was happening simultaneously with book 3 so there wasn’t much advancement in the bigger plot of the series. Still, i really like it.

UPDATE: NEVEMIND. Drake telling he loves Gabriel with Jamie, in the car, in chapter 20 makes this book 5 stars.The way my mouth dropped. I love them so much.

Drake is broken and scared. Jamie is naive but hopeful. Gabriel has what they need to bring them together. I think I like this one more than book 1. It was natural how they came together and became stronger together. The mystery of the bad guys and super bad behind the scenes is good too. Now there’s a new element introduced at the end. I’m ready for the next book.

Nice addition to the series

I liked this trio! While it wasn’t a light hearted book - there are a lot of emotions, tension, and danger - there were some sweet and steamy moments too. The overall series plot is advancing and I’m looking forward to the next book!
