It fell flat for me. I feel like it started off with so much potential but ended boring and dull. The whole "magic" side of the story seem to just be a background side note, felt entirely pointless.
It also contains a romantic interest that was not tagged at all, so that was upsetting.

I loved this book about a small town that needs help and a woman who begrudgingly saves it.

I really liked this book! It’s not entirely what I was expecting, but I liked that. I love Sarah and the way she loves her town. And Travis... my goodness. And Grace, Daisy, Mama G. (Even if Grace annoyed me at first a little, it was understandable and she grew out of it eventually). Can’t wait for the second book to come out. I want to see if anything will ever happen with Blake. And if something else is going to happen that requires Sarah’s help to keep her Dove Pond going strong.

This is a good book for people who enjoy this type of story. I read it because the title intrigued me and the location was near where I lived. I'm giving it 3 stars because I didn't care that much about the characters or story. I think people who usually read this genre will love it. It's well written but it's just not for me.
