I read the first five installments of the Scarlet Witch comic book series for the 2017 BookRiot Read Harder Challenge category "Read a superhero comic with a female lead." In the third one, Wanda Maximoff, a.k.a. Scarlet Witch, continues her globetrotting, which leads her to Ireland. Related activity unfolds in Nigeria; however, Wanda is unaware of it. She and Agatha finds themselves at the site of ancient battle where Wanda must do battle herself to address disturbances. After she completes her task, she knows she must follow the Witches' Road next. In addition to the story, I enjoyed the artwork as well. My brother loaned me the five comic books I read and will undoubtedly loan me more since we had fun discussing these when I was done :)

3.5 rounded up. The written "Irish accent" was cringeworthy and unnecessarily difficult.

Without the phenomenal art of the last issue I again found this too talky and occasionally even a little tiring in its need to be clever. Taking it off the pull list.
