I really enjoyed this book. Early medieval poems turned into short stories. My favourite is in Fen section under 'Treasure Guardian' but for those with triggers like me, I avoided reading 'The mountain on my back' because I believe it has sexual assault. I say believe, because I got the sense it would and stopped reading it. When I read the author's notes she talks about this violation, so I can only conclude that it does have it in and glad I avoided it.

As I didn't read it, the book wasn't spoilt and each story is completely separate and independent, so I enjoy the rest.

I also couldn't really tell you what category it came under, aside from informative, because the stories are varied and are about different things. I think I should put 'sad' too, but...well, it didn't leave me feeling upset so I haven't bothered.
