Loved this!

Selene is a freaking bad a$$! I want to be like her …lol and her boys will do anything for her. I’m excited to find out if they all find an hea in the final book or if things go wrong! November can’t come fast enough!

Thank you to Talk Nerdy to Me and the authors, R.E Bond and C.A Rene, for providing a copy of Hunting the Reaper (Reaped book 1). I have reviewed honestly.

Hunting the Reaper features, but is not limited to, the following themes:
○ Dark romance
○ Serial killers/psychopaths
○ Human trafficking
○ Prostitution
○ Violence
○ Reverse harem
○ Sex scenes including MM, FF and group

My overall rating for Hunting the Reaper is…

5 Stars!

Oh Boy this one was bad bad bad! Selene and her four psychotic serial killers are back to disturb and delight. This book is just as obscene as the last, with prostitution, gruesome murder, human trafficking and twisted sexual kinks, but it wouldn't be a "Reaped" tale without it. In this sequal (I'm including 0.5 as the first because it's absolutely necessary to read before this one), Selene is back to her sadistic and ruthless tendencies as she searches for her sister. When we get to the POVs of her boys we get this distinct buzz of anticipation that her chapters lack, which is a good thing in these circumstances. I loved the crude humour, meeting new characters, exploring new turf and dont even get me started on the spicy scenes. In conclusion, another climatic read from two dark romance Queens.

This book! THIS BOOK! Wow. We catch up with Selene in Nevada while she’s chasing her sister. The boys are pretty upset (putting it mildly) that she left them. They’re struggling without each other. Our queen, Selene, manages to track down who she’s looking for, and there’s some other surprises along the way. This book is amazing. The spice is perfection. C. A. Rene and R. E. Bond, you ladies know what you’re doing. I’m excited to see what happens next!

Selena, Blaze, Santos, Darius and Zander are BACK BAYBAY. I've been obsessed and I mean The Reaper Incarnate has been living rent free in my head since I read it. And now this will too. I thought TRI had twists and turns?? Oh no. Nae, nae. This is the twist and turn master. As a question is answered, two more pop up. This is full of emotions. Fear, anger, intense longing and need. Every time any of the boys feel it, it pours off the page and I did not see not one of these coming. And the ending. WHAT? I would have screamed if I hadn't finished this at 4.30am!! I volunteered to read and review an early copy of this. All opinions are my own.

Some books you can get away with reading the prequel after the first story but with this one, I would definitely jump in at the very beginning - set yourself up right for all the darkness and crazy because it's one hell of a ride.

In the first part of the story Selene is separated from her guys, having left them to find her sister. Rene and Bond did a brilliant job of capturing the emotions experienced by each of the characters and writing in a way that the reader can feel them in every word.

In the second part of the story Selene gets her boys back and we readers get the schmexy time we've all been waiting for (don't tell me you haven't been waiting for a scene with all five of them!). We also see revelations galore and not just for Selene.

Finally, we have a cliffhanger, and oh what a cliffhanger it is! As much as I dislike cliffhangers I'm grateful for this one - it means that the unhinged fun is set to continue and I need to read more from this crazy harem.

I absolutely love Selene and her guys! She has to be the toughest and craziest heroine I’ve read and Blaze, Zander, Santos and Darius are equally as crazy and twisted as she is. The twists and turns of this story had me on the edge of my seat and I loved every word. This story is definitely not for the faint of heart or anyone with a weak stomach but if you love the dark like I do this is right up your alley!!!
