I like dark books. I like RH. I like blood and gore. Something about this book just didn’t work. I think it was the timing. Everything was just instant. There was no real timeline and everything was so rushed it was confusing. I hate insta I’ve and this just felt exactly like that. I’ll read the next one because I have to finish the series. Hopefully it gets better.

Hunting the Reaper by C. A. Rene & R. E. Bond
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hunting the Reaper is an incredible book. Selene leaves in her guys in the middle night. She has to find her sister. But she should know her guys was not going to let her get away. As she hunts for any clues for her sister. Blaze was hunting her. And when things start gets too dark for Selene, Blaze calls for Santo, Zander and Darius for help. They not only found her, but they also found her sister. But it is not what Selene expected when she reunions with her sister. But the cliffhanger of the book is everything.

Hunting the Reaper has many twisted and turns. C. A. Rene and R. E Bond brings us a love story that does not follows anything you might have read before. Selene might be the Reaper but her guys love her for it. This series keeps get better with each book. And I can’t wait to see where the authors will carry us in the next book.

Loving this series!

So, Selene is still looking for her sister, Jan. This has left her running from her 4 boys who have no intention of letting her go. Blaze was sent as he's the best hunter, and indeed he is on her tail quicker than we know!

Selene is back to playing as a hooker and seducing men in the skin trade for info and then killing them, leaving her trademark reaper sign. But she seems to have a copycat killer using her mark....
Blaze is furious seeing her with other men and leaves little presents for Selene to show his displeasure....

Selene gets in deeper than she realises and ends up being taken in the next shipment from the guy she was investigating. Its at this point Blaze calls the rest of the boys to come and help retrieve their girl.... Which they're happy about as they've been climbing the walls - especially Santos.

They follow the trail to an MC gang where alot happens. Truths are revealed. Feelings shared. An enormous amount of satisfying sex happens! There's not one, but two reunions - not both happy ones!
And it ends on a cliffhanger... Once again leaving us worried for Selenes life.

I loved watching the boys grapple with their feelings for Selene. And also Santos and Darius take their already close relationship further, which is both very cute and sweet and also extremely hot! But Selene is also struggling with regret leaving her 4 boys behind and she never stops referring to them as "her boys".
The story flowed consistently at a quick pace which suited what the contents were. Selene is a true bad ass chick with great knife skills but with a soft heart for those who can get over the walls. But she still takes no shit. You cross her, she will bite back!

Sad its only a trilogy! Great characters that are fun to read about and a great female vigilante tale!

I received a copy of the book in return for an honest review

Things are very different this time around as Selene tries to put clues together to find her sister. From gifts from a stalker, trying to figure out what the men she left behind are up to and her struggle to stay focused on the task at hand, our girl honestly seems more reserved in majority of this book.

After finding out that her latest relation is captured, Selene follows the trail, and her men aren't far behind. But things don't go so smooth when they run into the reality of a twisted fate they didn't expect.

This one wasn't as action based as the previous book, still has plenty of steam and we come face to face with some unexpected characters. I loved the reunion of her loves and the understanding that she doesn't have to be alone anymore and can rely on them but our girl is still trying to figure it all out. Though this one wasn't as intense, didn't hold as much oomph as the previous book, I still enjoyed it greatly and look forward to the next part of this adventure.

Hunting the Reaper was such a great continuation of the Reaped series! Selene and her man are back and crazier than ever. The violence- loved it!. The steamy scenes- freaking hot as hell! The unexpected plot twists- mind blown! I absolutely cannot wait for book 3 to see more of Selene and her men!

These two have delivered another amazing book! I have been waiting to get my grabby hands on this since it was announced that the novella was only the beginning. It's dark, it's bloody, it's steamy, but it also has that bit of humor to it.

Selene is bad. She's resourceful, smart, and definitely doesn't back down from anyone. All she wants to do is find her sister and she will do whatever it takes to do that.

Blaze, Zander, Santos and Darius just want Selene back after she ran from them. Once they get her back it is explosive! The way that they all fit together is just

delicious

This second book in the Reaped series is just as dark, gorey, spicy, and twisted as the first one. I like how they expanded the POV to include other characters, it allows you to dive more into what makes each one tick. I couldn’t get enough of the humor in this book, it was all in the right places. The journey into Selene’s search to find her sister really gave you some twists & turns you didn’t expect and the cliff hanger ::chef kiss::
Pew pew!!
