I enjoy the Cotton Malone series. I was excited to read The Omega Factor only to find out it was a stand alone novel, not a Cotton Malone novel. So…. I figured I needed to read the previous stand alone novels before reading The Omega Factor bad I am glad I started with The Amber Room. Well developed characters and plot lines. All actions were believable. Plot twists were well woven into the story. Looking forward to reading The Third Secret.

A quick read. Entertaining enough, but formulaic and forced.

I understand it's still early, but we're five chapters in and nothing is happening. Plus reading other reviews put me off this one. This is likely where Steve Berry and I part ways. Happy trails, sir.

Secret histories involving Soviets, Nazis, and missing art treasure! Why wasn't this amazing? Maybe I've read too many versions of this story. Maybe it's the stereotypical characters and heavy macho vibe. Outdated for today's reader either way.

I don’t believe the author has ever actually spoken to a woman
