Set in the world of his new novel, The Incrementalists, this story shows us how the immortals can influence us in the smallest of ways and how that might effect just enough change to be worthwhile. This is vintage Brust, writing an immediately likable and relatable first person story with an interesting premise and a philosophical question at its heart. Worth every penny and then some.
