It’s has the vibes of Supernatural meets Ghost Whisperer. Not amazing writing but decent enough, it was a fun read. I thought the world building was super interesting and want to learn more.

This is a really fun science fiction/fantasy romp. I love the blending of science into the unknown of magic. My only gripe is how obnoxious Sean is at the beginning of the book. I am not a fan of hypermasculine threatening as a precursor to a possible romance subplot.

Fantastic fantasy. Has high fantasy elements while still being set primarily on modern day earth. Fascinating setting that was both comforting and adventurous. I haven’t had a book leave me feeling so simultaneously joyful and eager to continue in months.
