Cute. Reads like a fic. Which I guess it kind of is! I'm not sure how much I like being introduced to characters in "side pieces." Still, they were fun!

I understand this was Twitter fic of some sort to entertain fans during the pandemic, and it was nice of the author to do that, but he really should have had them edited for publication - like, even just having a literate friend read them over. This was rife with errors.

It was cute though, albeit with a lot more of the smaller kids than I'm eager for. I have so many issues with this series, yet the relationship between Rune and Brand keeps me coming back.

I'm not sure how I feel about coronavirus being incorporated into the main plotline. I don't like it much, I'd prefer if it stayed as an AU type of story. But I liked Layne's involvement in it a lot. So I'm torn about it.

Other than that, it was a nice side story. Wholesome. I need more.

Another tiny review for another tiny story. Or series of vignettes, rather. Though the vignettes have a slightly disjointed feel, the scenes were very cute. Our found family is coming along nicely. Also, God, I wish quarantine was this short.

I was worried it'd feel gratuitous at first, not to mention I'm not particularly fond of acknowledging the pandemic in escapist fiction, but it really got going after the move.
