The setting for this book immediately hooked me. I’m a sucker for a good futuristic dystopian and this had such a cool premise.
The world this book is set in, is a freezing one. Frostbite is a common nuisance that they deal with everyday. But inside the Snowglobe, the “actors” are protected from the harsh weather and get everything they need. But in order to live there, their lives must be televised to those who live outside the Snowglobe.
Our main character Chobahm wants so badly to live in the Snowglobe. But is it really everything she dreamed of?
I was pleasantly surprised at how hooked I was. There was some twists and turns I wasn’t expecting. The ending was a little underwhelming, but I have to say this book was a fun ride altogether.

I really should read more translated books because there is always just something about them that is so engrossing and different and I end up enjoying pretty much every one that I read!

This book gave me Hunger Games-esque vibes (with a touch of Blood Over Bright Haven) for sure and the setting is everything: dystopian frozen world where humans generate the power in a harsh climate where the average temp is -50 below zero! Except for the residents of Snowglobe, which is a geothermal temperature-controlled dome that houses all of the directors and actors and residents that produce the entertainment reality shows that everyone longs to be a part of.

The twists in this book genuinely had me saying “What?!” and just shaking my head as I tried to process everything and then simultaneously being so hooked on the story that I had to keep listening to see what happened next! I will definitely be reading the next book whenever it is available.

I liked the story, don't know why my feeling says it is this rating, thought it'd be higher. I think it maybe was the writing style of the action, not aure though. But i like the new appocolypicish idea with the entertainment globe and harsh temperatures on the outside.
