Quickly paced with lots of twists in true K drama fashion. Easy to root for the characters as they uncover the secrets of the Snowglobe.

i liked the world building and setting, however i think i would have liked the book to have been longer, with more exploration into its themes - i found it odd how chobahm immediately uncovered the darker side of snowglobe and was fine with it as it hadn't effected her yet. as established we follow her for at least 100 days inside snowglobe - i think a more slower descent into the reality of snowglobe would've been nicer. the haeri situation was done incredibly well, i really enjoyed how they explained that and the motivations behind it made sense. i think the horrors of being watched 24/7 should've been touched on more, as while miryu's story was touched on, haeri's story ended up not being about that at all - and as a major part of the worldbuilding i think the psychology of the situation would've been really interesting too look at

I found the premise of this book really fascinating. I look forward to reading the sequel to delve deeper into this world, especially after the teasers in the epilogue! This book made me think about real world issues like climate crises, media consumption, and the dynamics between the working class and the elite without being too on the nose political about anything. The pacing was about what I expect from a YA dystopia, but I wish there would have been a little more time spent getting to know the characters on an emotional level.
