Raven is more of a baddie 😈
Zeke is even more daddy 🥵

Wonderful world building. Thrilling magic. Deepened and thickened storyline. I fell in love with Jeanine in this book which was refreshing. I also loved getting more of Zeke’s POV and gathering more about his life in general. We met a lot of side characters and important pieces to the larger puzzle as well.

The connection between Zeke and Raven thrives from very early on and I’m here for it, even though the middle of the book becomes a little repetitive with their obsessive/possessive love for each other, though it does relate to the things in their relationship we learn and need to know in this book.

Now for the spice.. I’m HERE for it 👏🏼 Whitney is definitely creative when writing the SPIIICE. Every scene was different and grew more intense as you moved through the book. The primal nature was thrilling but definitely throws up a TW 🚩

Overall the book was dark themed and got very intense at times. That ending was unexpected and left a cliffhanger (which was expected bc A: Whitney 😅 B: only book 2/4 in this series). It’s going to be interesting seeing where the rest of this series takes us!

•fated mates/twin flames
•found family
•dual pov
•forced proximity
•dark secrets
•heartache and trauma
•morally grey all the way
•explicit sexual scenes
