You really get to love all of the characters in this novel. There's the "crazy", the sweet, the rugged, the "damaged", and the quiet one, all smitten with a young woman who basically gets washed up into their lives. There's some action, lots of steamier scenes, and a kick butt female character who really DOESN'T need no man. But, she can choose to have them, if she wants!
I recommend this if you're looking for something to read if you like RH! :)

This book gave me everything I love about why choose romances with an amazing FMC. I want to be Queenie. I loved how all the men had very different personalities and it just worked great together.

I had such high expectations for this book.
Unfortunately there were too many missed opportunities. The only reason I bumped the rating up was because it was a very interesting plot! I don’t see many mermaid shifter stories, or BIPOC FMC. But other than those reasons, it was a let down.
No clear image of the characters other than the FMC and the Best Friend. Disappointed all the way around.

Okay so this book was hot hot hot. ALSO Naomi was a bad a$$. She saved herself and was no damsel in distress.
My ONLY critique would be I wanted a bit more groveling/apology from her at the end because she HURT those men all because she was scared of love.
BUT the fact that she calls herself a coward and calls herself out - amazing character growth there.
Her inner monologue at times had me CRYING laughing so hard. There’s one line when she gets locked in the presidents office for her ‘safety’ and she compares it to being locked in a cage like a dog and she wishes she could pee on his desk in retaliation BUT THE DESK IS A NICE CHERRYWOOD and she says that seems destructive

OMFG I did myself a huge disservice by not reading this book sooner!!! I devoured this book, and I am not one to read MC romances but toss in some super sexy Mer-shifters that have magic powered motorcycles and I'm hooked.

Our FMC Naomi is so Whitty and strong she didn't back down ever. her dynamic with the MC crew was everything and her best friend Lourdes was hilarious. The smut, action, humor in this book has me running to read every book by this author that I can!!!
