This was a great emotional but spicy read. I loved all the underline plots in the story and can’t wait to read the spin off. I hope the series continue on with the different aspects of this universe.

How many different ways can I express how much I enjoyed this book? Not enough.
There was something so beautiful in the way these men doted on Queenie. While she's a powerful goddess who can do bad all her own, she somehow relinquishes control when the gods (merman shifters) of the Kraken MCs are in her corner. Queenie doesn't need protection, but that doesn't stop the club from giving it to her when she stumbles across something she shouldn't have.
The steam and spice levels are off the charts and the plot is good too. (Although I wish we got a little more shifter scenes and actual club activities but that doesn't deter me) While I don't usually like so many perspectives in a single story, these didn't bother me. They provided enough insight into the personalities of each of the men as well as Queenie. Each character felt relevant and like their own person, not just filler on the page.
I can't say this will be for everyone and some of the language might put some people off but that's what the TWs are for. Overall I had a good time getting to know Queenie and her chosen few.

Wanted to really like this book but I really struggled with the misogyny both from the men in this book and the main character, Queenie (although this was addressed a bit later). It was really hard for me to read when they kept calling almost every woman they ran across a "bitch". This is a why choose story and while a lot of the interactions/characters felt different- dauphin really just felt tacked on there with no real characteristics.
I DID enjoy that they showed a dynamic relationship structure between not only the main character and the others but also between some of the men.

This was another great book. It is a standalone but is definitely worth your time. Such an interesting storyline and concept with the merpeople.

Holy- Like, okay, I do not read MC but this might actually be a game changer for me. I loved it. It was fun, fast-paced, very spicy, and Aleera did not skip out on anything. I can't even choose which guy I liked the most cause I love them all so much. The characters sold this for me. Everyone is different and I can see them clearly in my head. I appreciate how seamless the plot played out and how thrilling it was.... I even like that Naomi left and came back because it felt right for the character. Naomi was a wild ride and a fantastic female lead and damn was it refreshing. She doesn't hesitate and she was okay with walking over bodies, it was so refreshing to read. 10 out of 10, recommend, definitely a great addition to my shelf!

A why choose romance that involves a merman motorcycle club, yeah I was sold. I did wish we had gotten to know the guys a little better especially one of the guys who barely interacted with Queenie but was a love interest and got a POV. Overall I really enjoyed this book and I can’t wait for the next one.
