I have loved Glennon for years and I'm thankful that though I've owned this book for a while, these last few months are when I finally cracked it open. I laughed. I cried. I discovered myself and renewed my hope in women, children, love, and humanity. The quick chapters perfectly fit into my busy day. Highly recommended for any woman (or human) who has been tamed but something feels not quite right, or anyone who has been told to ignore their Knowing. You're a GD cheetah.

this book was...fine??? i mean it definitely isnt revolutionary the way some ppl say it is :/ id say its a very shallow look at feminism; very surface level. there are some GREAT chapters in this book and some important things were said, but overall it feels like the author discovered feminism and is excited to tell ppl about it, as if we dont know what it already is? i dont know, it kind of came off sometimes like the author is treating the readers as if we dont know anything about it. and im sure this book is good for some people out there, but honestly a lot of the '''lessons''' we're taught about in this book is stuff i already dismantled inside myself when i was an older child/young teen. i didnt learn much from this book, really; its not bad, i guess, just definitely not for me. still gets a low rating though because i felt like the author was talking to me like i was a child.

This is the first book that I have read by this author. I really enjoyed how it was a memoir meets self help book. Glennon makes a lot of powerful points that made me spend a good about of time reflecting. I also applaud how open Glennon is about her flaws and mistakes. How she is brave to write a book and change things she has stood for in the past. Because don’t we all change over time? Great read, with a lot of women’s empowerment and finding yourself advice. This book also had some LOL moments. The author became very human with her readers and that made this book more relatable and impactful.
