It’s a lovely, spicy short story.
Josie’s marriage ends after 10 years, because her husband has a new love in his life. In this case she needs a place to stay for a few weeks, so Milo, her brother offers up his room since he is out of town for work. This solution comes with a new roommate August Brooks, her little brother’s best friend. He is the kind of guy who turns woman into speechless human beings.
August is twenty-six years old and always been part of Josie’s life. He is smart, kind, funny and a freaking Adonis with a very flirty mouth. Did i mentioned that he is constantly calling her gorgeous? What is it if not a huge turn on! After a drinking game they end up in the same bed. With every stolen moment their connection gets stronger, but is it strong enough end up together as a formal couple?

This was a great story. Short, sweet, and spicy. I loved August and his flirtatious personality. Josie's feisty personality was just as great! I have to admit, I wish there was more. It would have been nice to see the story expanded as well as see what happens when her brother finds out about everything but it's great as it is already. The author's set up the next story perfectly and even seemed to hint at something between August's sister maybe??? A woman can dream! Overall, great characters, spicy scenes, and a man to swoon over.

This book was perfect!! August is a 26 year old techie who is in love with his best friends older sister and has been forever. Josie is a 39 year old very newly single woman whose husband has been having an affair.
This book was full of laughs, spice, & everything nice.
First read by these amazing authors and looking forward to more. Can’t wait to read Bestie Parkers story!!

Yes! This book rocked! Fast paced and steamy is my jam! I loved the fact that Josie is in her 40’s and letting it all hang out and having a hot 26 year old sniffing after her. Who says you still can’t be a freak in the sheets at 40 ! Woohoo!
I could not put this book down. I was seriously obsessed with August and Josie especially wondering when they would stop fighting it & just do it already haha I really enjoyed how august was wild & sexy but yet loving and protective over Josie. I’m telling you once you start reading it you will not be able to put it down. Not to mention the spice is so good. I love a good tension build up before the action. I’m a sucker for it ha I definitely recommend this book. It’s sexy and sweet.

I loved this! It's sweet and angsty and cute and just fun to read. I couldn't put it down.
Josie moves in with her brother and his roommate when her marriage falls apart. The brother is away for work, and the roommate? Well, August has wanted Josie for a decade and definitely wants to make the most of this time alone with her. The tension between the two was undeniable.
It was a short read, I wish there was more! I will definitely be reading Parker's story. She was great in this one.
