I felt fourteen again (which is Mia's age in this book), which is a good sign. Entertaining and enjoyable without being annoying.

I was in desperate need for lighthearted fluff when I picked this one up. It definitely filled the bill, but what's strange is that it left me wanting more.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. To be fair, the movie barely resembles the book at all except for the very basic plot line. If you go into this book thinking of it as completely seperate from the movie, then I think you'll like it too. It was funny and sharp with a lot of pop culture references.

I really liked the journal entry format and I can't wait to pick up the second book.

I listened to this in audiobook format and absolutely loved the narration as it was voiced by Anne Hathaway! While I know that there are significant differences between the books and movies I loved that there was somewhat of a connection made between the two with Anne being the reader for the audiobook. Can’t wait to continue on with this series!

I am such a huge fan of the movie, it was hard to appreciate the book as much considering their various differences. I found Mia's writing to be a bit annoying at times... And the characters weren't as lovable! I probably would've enjoyed this more if I read it before falling in love with the movie.

I never read these books so I decided to since I've already seen the movies. They're pretty much nothing like the movies but somehow that really didn't bother me. The story line was pretty decent in both interpretations so I was pretty satisfied.

I only rated this book three stars because while it made me laugh, that was all there was to it. It's a nice simple story but I didn't enjoy it as much as I could. Yeah that's pretty much all I have to say...

Starting my epic reread of the series. Love it!

What an adorable book! I love the style it’s written in and Mia is pretty funny. She’s got a firey spirit for sure!! Lily is kinda a terrible friend though…..hopefully she redeems herself. I like how similar yet different this is from the movies. Super light and cute!

I have shockingly never read the series despite the films being some of my absolute favourites. Quite enjoyed seeing the differences and similarities!
