Okay! I liked it!!

Much better than I liked the movie. Despite the fact that in this book her grandmother is a French speaking Queen Bitch (unlike Julie Andrews - who I adore), the book is not as PG. It's definitely a bit more risque. I liked it!

Clearly a product of the early aughts, but progressive and Socio political issues by tone, deaf, and others. The real highlight of this audiobook is the fact that Anne Hathaway narrates it.

Some parts of it didn't age too well, but it's still a gold star from me.

hmm what to say... seeing as how I ADORE the movies, this just didn't feel... right

Screened the book for age appropriateness for my 10 yr old. I enjoyed it but will wait a few more years before passing it on to her.

The book was well-written and engaging; I just didn't enjoy the story so much.

Cute start to the series. It's very different from the movie, especially her grandmother. Try to wipe your mind before reading, because you aren't getting Julie Andrews here, folks.

In case you have no idea what this series is about, Mia finds out she is a princess. A real princess. Of a small country in Europe. She's dorky, and unpopular, and a bit weird, like most high school freshmen. And now this? Nothing but trouble.

This book will help you remember how awkward high school was. And then you can be glad you made it to adulthood.
