This book is a really good book. I think the important lesson in this book is that it is ok to be who you are. Mia finds out who she is at the end of the book. She accepts that she is a Princess. These are important lessons that we learn as young adults. Who we are, what we can do, and where we are going to be. I thought I reviewed this book but apparently I didn't so I am writing a review for it now. It was a great book about self-discovery.

The audio book with Anne Hathaway reading is *chef's kiss.* Minus a few bits of outdated language, I loved this almost as much as I did when I first read it in high school. I forgot how different it is from the movie!

This book is not perfect by a long shot but it is SO fun and my favorite lighthearted contemporary ever. Mia Thermopolis supremacy.

Where is Joe??
The movie is better

Very fun and Annie is a treasure as a voice actor. The movie is superior in every way though, they mad a lot of changes and every one made the story better.

Girl, it’s so confusing sometimes to find out you’re the princess of genovia.

Lily and Mia really worked it out in the remix I loved this book. It’s a product of its time (the late 90s/early 2000s) and so many of the references are dated, but as a 96 kid I can’t believe I didn’t read this growing up. I LOVED the movie why did I never think I’d like the books?

Going to continue healing my inner tween and read the rest of the series.

Anne Hathaway is a national fucking treasure.
