Im not saying that I won't come back to this book at some point. But I'm not really liking Mia or her dad in it and it's very ya
This was light and quick read and was able to get me out a reading slump!
I really like Megs’ writing style and that the chapters are portrayed as short diary entries. Sometimes I did find myself skipping some unnecessary dialogue.
Overall, I would read this again! It was a funny, carefree and light book!

3.5⭐️ Hahaha Mia is so funny. Different from the movie. But cute. NYC instead of San Fran and her dad is still alive and grandmother is not nearly as fun. Also no Joe :( AND Lily is so much more of a POS in the book. Loved that it was read by Anne Hathaway

A quick, entertaining read just different enough from the movie to keep my interest.
I enjoyed this! It was fun- counting it as read but listened to it in Anne Hathaway’s voice, fun but also made it arguably harder to separate movie and book. Let me tell you, they are DIFFERENT! But still a sweet read!

Not the best book in the world, but so cute! I haven't been a teen for a hot minute, but it was really sweet to read this because it so perfectly captured my personal teen experience. The awkwardness and naivety but growing out of it slowly- such a fun nostalgic read.
Super funny. Hilarious book. I am definitely reading more books by Meg Cabot. She is really good.
