Writing this review pains me immensely. I had high anticipation bcz of the sypnosis.
FMC character was great. I love her love for her mother and sister. As the prime breadwinner, she hunts for days in order to provide for her family.
One day, she hears that the dragon king is in her village in search for a potential future wife, ASAP. (His previous wife sided from childbirth, and is now in need for an heir; you can see where this is going.) This already doesn’t make the MMC appealing.
When she is chosen as one of the two candidates, fmc’s sole purpose is to avoid being chosen due to her true hidden  heritage(100% dragon). People like her are killed on the spot. So the only thing she has to do is avoid being chosen or seduce the king so he doesn’t kill her(make him fall in love with him).

The FMC is hilarious. She has a sarcastic mouth and is a strong woman. Whereas, the MMC has no personality. Nada. He is probably one of the most boring and disliked character I’ve read…

There are also to many mentions of “I am not gonna give you my womb.”

I feel like I’m being gaslighted. Idk what type of crack the author had while writing this book. This book is a “standalone”(for the main leads), but the plot continues… so it’s an open ending.
