As you can tell by the title this book is about sin. We got to see more of Sin’s backstory. Which I liked because he was one of my favorite characters. I also loved that we got to see a little more of the characters from the other books. The book was king of slow at part and I almost didn’t finish it but I pulled through and I liked it. The loved romance. He really loved her and she loved him and he really proved how much he loved her throughout the book. The book was also really funny at times. I started laughing so hard when he called her ugly and didn’t even notice her. Afranca was my favorite character I literally loved her so much. Sin and Olorna were such a cute couple I loved them so much and I need more of them. The book was kind of slow at some parts but overall it was an amazing book.

Usually I'm not one to read novellas, but I loved the Tainted Accords series so much that I wanted more of it. I enjoyed this one, it was nice to know Sin's back story and what made him the person he is. I'm glad he found his happy ending and discovered certain truths. It was also nice to see some key characters make an appearance.
I had guessed that the whole Olina and Jovan's conversation Sin was staged when it started, but I was still relieved when Shard confirmed it later on.
It was a very good read.

More like a typical romance.

Sin, Sin, Sin. What a mystery. Finding out why he paraded around like a manwhore was heartbreaking. But who he was underneath came out even more in this book and I loved it. We also meet Olorna, who was starved by the crazy ex-Tatum during the war and is still recovering. Sin and her start out as reluctant friends and it goes from there. Their romance was really cute, especially when you knew how they felt for each other before they even realized it. Good drama and a great ending. And of course, I loved getting a more in-depth look into the decision Olina made at the end of the last book. Can't wait for the next book.

So first thing you should definitely read The Tainted Accords Series before you read this, it will spoil.
Second, why haven't you read TTA yet?
Sin...my beautiful, vain Sin. Why was your perfect image ruined for me when I found out you have depth? I was very pleased and somewhat surprised about Sin's backstory. I don't know what I was expecting, but not quite that, which is a very good thing. I like that the book kind of tells the story of what is happening after TTA, and gave me some more characters to get to know.
It was just too short, like all of Kelly's books, I cannot get enough.
