I read this in preparation for my gardening storytime. This book is adorable with it's little rhymes and limited text. I liked the illustrations best overall, but I found the target audience to be a bit muddled. The board book/super simple text suggest babies and toddlers, but I can see the topic of gardening going over more with preschoolers or older. It would just have to come down to a case by case basis.

For: fans of gardens; readers looking for a simple gardening book.

Possible red flags: some readers may find the book too simple.
