This really doesn’t seem like it is going to work for me so I moved on.

It had all the components that I’m into: an elite Academy filled with a library of hidden information, a slew of unique characters that all had their own reasoning behind who they are and what they’re capable of. The problem was, the although foundation was incredible, the execution was fumbled. There was a lot of unreached potential, which sounds a lot like the report card of every student at this Alexandrian facility.
Coulda shoulda been a lot more to this. Also they did Reina so dirty, she blended into the background when she could have been living all of our Poison Ivy dreams.

I gave it 3 stars with my mind but 2 with my heart, I'll explain.
I finally finished it. Took me almost 2 years. Not even kidding. The love hate relationship I have with this book is insane.
I was really torn between 2 stars and 3 because I really liked some things but I REALLY disliked some things about it:
-the book is absolutely not accurately representing physics or science for that matter, not that it ever said it would, it's a magic book after all, but because many booktubers tend to describe it like that and I fell for it: but really, it doesn't
-some characters are truly insufferable, but not all of them, I found it funny and crazy how I ended up liking Nico&Gideon, Tristan and THAT final character the most
-tbh the POV from each of the member is not that confusing as some people make it out to be, but maybe it wasn't that necessary? It doesn't really add much, if anything it feels like it prevents you from learning much about what the others feel.. anyways I didn't mind it
-i loved the ending and the fact that there was a plot twist of THAT caliber, this honestly is the only reason I gave it 3 stars
-the writing is beautiful but if I read "changed the molecular structure of the room" one more time I will personally go and take down the library myself
Overall a crazy ride, "fanks" The Atlas Six, my dark academia insane bruv
