Porusza ważne tematy (autyzm, aromantyczność, poronienia) i do tego ma parę wspaniałych cytatów, jednak w większości było w niej coś męczącego.

I really like the concept of the whole book being set during a single day with multiple pov’s. I definitely enjoyed Pen’s story more, but I feel like it’s just because I’m closer to her in age and can relate more.
I loved the mundanity of the story mixed with a lot of important themes like identity and love.
What put me off a bit were the constant descriptions of the routes they took (she turned onto x street at the corner of x, etc). I feel like these descriptions are just not relevant to anyone but Dubliners?
I really enjoyed the book and was going to give it four stars, but my rating went down an additional 0.5 because of the strange last chapter (iykyk) 😅
