I had read a few of these individually. Reading them all together, mixed with different styles of writing and storylines, was a treat! Some are good, some I loved, but they are all

A Fine Joke - Amy D'Orazio: Is Darcy dying or is someone is messing with his mind? With everything on the line, he asks for the one thing he wants most. Luckily for him, Elizabeth has a forgiving and compassionate heart. She is also clever and sees there might be more to the situation. Always love me some AD!

Beswitched - KaraLynne Mackrory: Very cute little ditty told via the viewpoint of a fairy, whose job is to pair human couples. This time the task is to bring together the stubbornest couple yet!

Lost and Found - Julie Cooper: An interesting sci-fantasy version, including a witch, a strange rose garden, dragons and true love. This is the second time I’ve read this and both times I imagined the potential of it fleshed out to a full length novel.

A man with a plan - Lucy Marin: I think this one is my favorite. Who needs a hollywood romance movie when this Darcy has it all. He wants the girl, he chases the girl, he gets the girl- smolder included!

One minute more - Jan Ashton: Caroline takes a larger role in this version, but with an outcome she did not anticipate and much better than she deserved! Bingley shows a backbone and Darcy gets it right on the first proposal. With a little drama woven in between.

When he comes back - Anniina Sjoblom: I tend to shy away from 'modern' retellings, but this one got me. I could feel the fear and yearning from both Elizabeth -while she waited, not knowing if Darcy would come back and from Darcy-loving her so much yet unsure if she could ever love him back. Getting teary just thinking about it.

A great compilation of short stories from some of the best JAFF authors.
I had read most of these before, but they are all worth reading more than once.

Really enjoyable.
