I finished it but did not like the book at all. I watched all 3 parts of the Hobbit trilogy avoiding finishing the book. Alas I ran out of Hobbits and had to finish.

Wonderful weird lit that almost feels like it could be an allegory for Brexit (which event is mentioned a few times in passing), but that would be too reductive of the richness on offer.
