A worthy sequel to the first of the Feral Space books, The Delighted picks up where The Scalpel left off. It’s dark, strange, cool, and further develops the backgrounds, respective cultures, and humanity of Hargie, Sparkle, Swirl, and even Melid. Worrad’s talent for imagery and knotted plots left me stunned.
