It’s a hard boiled horror-mystery so don’t go expecting slight light aspects like there are in some of Lemire’s other creator owned comics like Sweet Tooth and Descender.

Excellent Horror book from Writer Jeff Lemire, Artist Andrea Sorrentino and Colorist Dave Stewart. The storytelling is an excellent slow to medium burn that unfolds wonderfully even though you can see some of the twists coming. It unfolds wonderfully. Sorrentino’s art and Stewart’s colors compliment each other exceptionally well. Some of the horrific imagery is incredibly potent and it’s easy to get stuck in your head. I can’t wait to read more whenever the next Deluxe Hardcover Edition gets released.
