You know, usually I go into Halo comics with the expectations, 'It will be passable, but hey, It's Halo'. And this story had promise, featuring the silent spartan sniper Linda, on a quest by her lonesome. I felt there were a lot of things which could've been explored.
But other than the premise, most things went downhill. The art style is just Ok, The plot is neither engaging or intriguing, stakes might as well as be none (the whole mission seems overqualified for a spartan to be doing), characters don't connect. All in all it's pretty unspectacular as things go.

I'm not particularly familiar with the lore of Halo, but I think this story gave interesting insight into the world. It was a short story that encompasses enough to garner my interest into the world. The consequences and collateral damage of the war are palpable even with the limited context given. I would be interested in picking up more graphic novels to get to know this world better after reading this.
Moderate: War, Violence, and Gun violence
