I have been obsessed with The Off-Campus series from The Deal, could not get enough. When it was announced there would be another spin off, one with Garrett Graham and Wellsys daughter I began the countdown and it finally arrived and I found myself slightly hesitant, could this book achieve the same level of greatness, and capture me the same way as they always have? Yes. 100% yes. Gigi wants to be her own person aside from who her dad is and wants to set out to make her own name in hockey. Ryder as the “bad boy” grumpy type are always my favorite, the two of them working together to achieve their hockey goals is so exciting and seeing him trying to navigate a relationship with the Grahams is heartwarming. I am never going to get enough of these couples and the families they’ve made. I am dying for a Jake Connely and Brenna Jensen follow up though!!

I was really enjoying this book until the ending which felt so rushed and unrealistic in some ways. If you’re looking for spice this is great for that, though there’s practically none in the last quarter of the book.
