I loved that this carried on with the life of some of my favourite characters in the background. Who doesn't love a good hockey romance!

Elle Kennedy never disappoints and I get so lost in her books I can finish them in a day.

Very slow paced in the first 2/3 then goes so fast and so much happens in the last 1/3.

4.75 ⭐️ this was nearly perfect for me … until that big plot twist at the end that I just didn’t jive with. I freaking loved Gigi and Ryder’s story. I love both of them individually and together! Literally would not change a thing about them. The marriage thing though… idk, I didn’t expect it and didn’t love it. I mean, I liked how everything played out. How Garrett and Ryder got close because of Garrett’s reaction, but damn, I wanted Ryder asking for his blessing too. And a wedding and everything that comes with all that. This would have been a 5 ⭐️ book, if only. The smut was also top tier. Ryder is fucking hot.

Oh man, that was so good and so funny! I adore Elle Kennedy's writing style and it was so nice to see Hannah and Garrett again!

Ryder is dreamy and it was nice getting to see him work through his trauma.

My first Elle Kennedy Book and I was NOT disappointed.

I loved it. It’s a slow burner at first but around 35-40% in it gets sooo good. I couldn’t put it down. I had the best time with the Briar crew! So many likeable characters and a few not so, but they mostly grow on you.
The main characters are Gigi and Ryder.
(I believe if you have read the off campus series by Elle Gigi is one for the children from the main characters of that. Off campus 2nd gen! I have no yet but definitely will)

I am in love with Ryder I also love Gigi. Watching their romance grow. It was charming, delightful and beautiful.

So good!
