This short story is a must read for anyone following The Way of the Shaman series.

It is told from Stacy's point of view and fills in some serious gaps. But, like all the books in this series, it left with me with new questions and now I want to read Book 6 even more.

I've seen other readers complain that this was a separate story rather than included in Book 5 of the series ("The Karmadont Chess Set") and I have to agree that it really shouldn't have been it's own story. But, it isn't about paying for an extra short story.

The only reason I wanted this to be part of a full book is because I nearly missed reading it and it was just so absolutely integral in explaining what is going on!

Because it isn't numbered as Book 5.5 or anything similar, it wasn't showing up in a lot of the lists of this series. I only found it when I was trying to figure out why different readers had such wildly different reactions to Book 5 itself.

Again, if you like this series you must read this story!

fell like I just got fleeced. for the lackof content this should have been free. don't waste money buying a side note.
