ADRIANA MATHER WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME!!!!

I had a little trouble getting into her writing style at first but once I did the story was fantastic.

This book is amazing. I have always been fascinated by the Salem Witch Trials and was so happy to see a young adult book about them. I could relate to the main character Sam, she is sarcastic, brave, and has a good sense of humor (if you ask me). I enjoyed watching Sam grow and experience things in Salem as a Mather descendant.

The book also tackles bullying and how it affects Sam to be treated the way she is just cause of her last name.

That ending though!!! It through me for a loop i never would have thought of it, i knew there was something off about Vivian but i could never have guessed that twist. I'm sorry Jaxson i like you and everything but Imitation in love with Elijah. I ship Elijah and Sam so hard and i don't even care if he is a ghost. He better be in the second book and i want them together!!!!! Ok freakout done.

The writing style was hard to get into i had trouble getting into it and understanding it. It got a lot easier when i listened to the audiobook, it was nice that it was narrated by the author. I think she did a great job and i can't wait to see what else she writes.
