i feel like if i did not know about calliope being a monster hunter before i read the story, i would had been more surprised while reading the story. however, it was still good and i like how we got both girls' povs. maybe it felt a bit like a teaser to the show, since there isn't much development and we only get to know their insecurities and how their hunt began. but it was a nice read anyway
