For being the second book in the matched trilogy, it was an ok book. I do think there could have been a little more action. Cassia disappointed me at times. She didn't have the unwavering attitude that she appeared to have in the first book. She just kept flip flopping between choices. I understand that there are times where one has to face choices that aren't exactly the easiest, but she didn't have to keep going back and forth between decisions.

I really feel like Cassia grew up in this one. I liked this better than the first, I am looking forward to how this series turns out.

it was brutal and realistic (under the circumstances) i liked it

To me, this book moved much faster and was more interesting than the first book, Matched. I am eager to read the final book in this trilogy.

Not much to say. I like Ky and Cassia. Felt a little slow but still was really good

I liked Matched better, but I did enjoy Crossed. I look forward to reading the final book.

Meh! This was a major let down after Matched. The characters lost their appeal and the action was almost non-existent. I found myself not really caring what happened to Ky and Cassia. There was a lot of internal dialogue going on in the characters' heads and that brought the book to almost a standstill. I finished reading it late one night and pulled it out the next day, not even remembering how it ended - it was that anti-climactic.

In a few short words, this book fell short. Matched looked very promising but this book was just beating around the bush about the same thing over and over again. Matched was okay since I was more or less getting into their society's system and stuff.
But Crossed... Don't even get me started on it. Cassia was just plain outright annoying. I had to constantly force myself to pick the book back up and continue reading about Cassia's annoying-ness. It was almost boring to read. And also, what was with all the random details thrown in? Like Cassia's friend being in love with Xander. I mean, what? Though it looks like maybe Condie will be able to redeem herself in the third book, if its anything like she promised in the ending. Not too sure, but I think I'll still be sticking around for the third book.
I really hope she gets her act together and stops clinging onto both Ky and Xander. Though I would actually like her to get together with Xander(:
