Over the Last 10 days I have been absorbed in this series, After finishing Book 1 in 2021 I finally decided that 2023 was the year I wanted to escape once again to S.T.A.G.S and I’m glad that I did and I’m glad that I was able to read these books back to back; I have been fully immersed in this series and just needed to see it all through to the end and this book did not disappoint at all, It brought everything together in a big way and resolved everything that was outstanding, leaving one question outstanding… I won’t spoil!!
What can I say about the final book in a series that doesn’t spoil it for you.. I don’t know but all I will say is this…. Fast paced. I Devoured it. Loved it. Would highly recommend the whole series. A brilliant story to end the series on. An amazing ending!!
I absolutely adore the relationship between Greer and Shafeen. Every moment between them you can feel the chemistry. So to me, there never was a question of Henry or Shafeen, and that kind of damped the story for me that this book relied on that battle between them so much. In my heart I hope Greer chose Shafeen but honestly, I don’t know if she is deserving of his affection or even Henry’s.
Compared to the first four books in the series this was a bit of a letdown. In those books I really enjoyed a lot all the puzzles, riddles and mysteries and there were almost none of those in this H.A.W.K.S. I feel this was a good conclusion to the series and I'm even willing to overlook the agitating love triangle.

Everything went off the rails! It is the weakest book in the series in my opinion, but I still love it! I was very bugged by the love triangle situation, though, because I completely do not feel it.
