This bodyguard romance is book 2 in the Palace Insiders series, and it was very disappointing. I loved book 1, I don't know what happened with this one, it moved so slow that I had to consciously keep bringing my attention back to it. At one point, I thought the end must have been approaching, and I was only 47% in. This one was not for me. And I'm pretty sure the narrator's voice, which was super soothing (maybe a little too much), did not help.
