If you enjoy punny corny and Zaney characters you will love this book. A witch who is finding out her life has been on hold reconnects with a former high school crush of a merman who can’t stay one one place long enough to be anchored. The town is full of magical folk and the smut scenes are spicy without be extremely detailed. I really enjoyed this story.

If I thought too much about this book it started not making sense, but overall a cute story

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC!

Witchful Thinking is a sweet romance with a big dose of magic. Martin created a charming seaside town, with a very fun cast of magical creatures, that is the perfect setting for an October read.

The chemistry between the characters is excellent and the story told in alternating perspectives, which treats the reader to all the pining (and lusting) one could want in a romance.

There’s a wonderful message of being true to yourself and finding the magic (and excitement) in your life, even if you aren’t where you expected to be.

This was a very cute small town slightly witchy romance! I love a slow burn and this one was just so good. The characters were super likable except for Ursula and her fiancé. They were the worst.
