Good storytelling and interesting art. I liked volume 1 a bit more, but this one had some cool stories. Looking forward to #3.

As good as it ever was. The Sandman is my all time favourite series. Master story telling that reveals more with each telling.

Layered. Layers upon layers of story, myths, worlds. I don't know why I don't just give up my penchant for writing when I read Gaiman. He's just brilliant.

I think I just don’t like this storyline, I had high hopes that I was going to like this more than the show since in my opinion getting to those episodes of season 1 were a chore, because the introduce you to rose and the rest of the season is entirely focused on you caring about her as a character so you care about her finding her brother, and I didn’t care about her so this means that those episodes were pretty boring because they just dragged out their reunion, until the end where they end up at the cereal convention which I loved, unfortunately I don’t think this is a happy medium, since they spend so little setting up rose and her brother that you absolutely do not even have a chance about caring about them, and also the resolution of Jed escaping happened super quickly and was super anticlimactic, and because the corinthian had no set up the convention was not that interesting because it had absolutely zero stakes, which was absolutely not the case on the show, also on the show the storylines connecting felt satisfying and on here it didn’ and I liked that they just killed the child molester, why are we giving him a nice dream here, so overall this volume just felt like separate storylines that developed incredibly quickly, which meant not having any stakes and that when they ended they felt anticlimactic, I did enjoy the closing monologue and the desire part tho.
